Marlow: Papa's Legacy
by Bill Craig
A Key West Mystery #8
“Bill Craig’s latest Marlow adventure is a coup of a conspiracy novel by a master of the genre, utterly convincing in its stunning proposition that Ernest Hemingway’s death was in fact no more a suicide than was President Kennedy’s or the death president’s brother Robert. Set in Key West, exotic tropical location of the Hemingway House and Museum, a young woman is researching the great writer’s private papers when she stumbles across a stunning discovery that will put her life in peril and call upon Marlow’s most extreme powers of body and mind. Never before have history and the truth been twisted in the wind quite as in this hurricane of revelation Papa’s Legacy by Bill Craig.” - Mark Howell, Like a Rolling Stone

The Key West Police Department writes it off as routine vandalism. Except Katrina Morrow doesn’t think so. Katrina is a Hemingway scholar and suspects that the break in had a specific purpose, so she hires Marlow to look into it. As he begins his investigation, some sinister characters show up and try to scare him off. But Rick Marlow doesn’t scare easily, and as the stakes rise, he becomes more determined to find the truth, even as it leads south to Cuba and a deadly confrontation over what might be a lost Hemingway manuscript ….
