USSA Book 3

It happened without warning. A media blackout, a military coup, and suddenly the U.S.A. no longer existed. Overnight it became the U.S.S.A., the United Secure States of America. The military had taken over. They changed our name, changed our flag and national anthem, and told us everything was the same.

Eddie Ludlow and his friends, B.J. and Mike, knew better. In the first months of the takeover, Eddie’s father had been sent to a “reorientation camp” and came back changed. Mike’s grandparents’ store had been ransacked. The time had come for Eddie and Mike to join the underground resistance.

Then Eddie met Mike’s girlfriend, a beautiful singer who was also dating the head of the promilitary Young Patriots League. Sooner than Eddie could imagine, he had to make a choice between his friendship with Mike and fighting the dictatorship that held America in its grasp.
