One bleak morning in 1972 everything went so wrong. Lida Mae McLeod had cried every night since. Then a man in a black cape slipped into her room and murdered her while she lay in her bed. Killing was what he did. This was the Cobra. Sir Lionel Pritchard, Chief Inspector of Scotland Yard, recognized this assassin’s work. But could her catch the Cobra before he struck again. But Lida Mae had her own history, an IAS bomber who had disappeared from sight. But the Cobra had found her – and carried out someone’s revenge. But whose?

Dr. Jill Vosler is a family physician whose medical studies took her abroad to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and on to extensive travel throughout the UK and Europe. Her love for these places has flavored her novels, along with the many years spent as a deputy coroner under the guidance of her father, who was the county coroner well into his eighties. She has a keen interest in politics and a passion for music, but most enjoys traveling the world with her husband, John, and their son and daughter.
