Taken for a Ride in Yorkville
by James Fox
In his best novel yet, James R. Fox takes us a ride in Yorkville, a section of New York City where a string of murders stump Detective Jack McClusky and everybody else. Nazi assassins, JFK and Marilyn Monroe, a priest who survived as a POW, the habitués of an Irish bar, a Golden Glove champ, and a taxi driver, they are all here in the noir-ish look at the Big Apple following the Great War.
